Bang Bang Bazooka is een band
opgericht in 1987.
Bijna
legendarisch, één van de eerste Nederlandse
psychobilly bands.
Bang Bang Bazooka: Rockabilly from the 80's, beinvloed
door country en blues. Ze spelen hoofdzakelijk eigen
nummers.
In de lente van 1988 werd hun eerste album uitgebracht
door de Nederlandse platenmaatschappij "Count Orlock
Records." Het album werd goed ontvangen en BBB heeft
veel optredens door heel Europa gedaan.
Het tweede album genaamd "True Rebel" werd
in 1990 uitgebracht, wederom door "Count Orlock
Records." Beide albums worden nogsteeds over heel
de wereld verkocht in de psycho- en rockabillyscene.
De nummers voor het 3e album zijn bijna klaar.
Midden jaren 90 zijn de BBB-leden allemaal hun eigen
weg gegaan en in verschillende bands gaan spelen.
De jongens zijn nu mannen geworden, nog steeds vrienden
en nog steeds actief in de muziek. In 2004 zijn ze weer
begonnen waar ze 10 jaar eerder mee gestopt waren.
De mannen kwamen een keer bij elkaar voor een BangBang-reunie
en dat smaakte naar meer.
In het nieuwe millenium maakt Bang Bang Bazooka wederom
de Europese podia onveilig en zijn ze ondertussen een
begrip geworden:
"Kick ass
rock and roll!"

In
the spring of 1988, their first record was released by

Orlok Records". The record was well received and BBB did many gigs through Europe.
The
second record named "True Rebel" was released in 1990 als by "Count
Orlok Records". Both records are still selling in the psycho/rock a billy scene
all over the world. The songs for the 3rd album are almost finished...
In the mid 90's the BBB members all went their own way,
playing in various bands.
The
boys are men now, still friends, still into music.
In
2004 they picked up what they left 10 years ago, the
guys got together for a Bang Bang revival, and these
occasions were getting more and more frequent. Now Bang
Bang Bazooka is rocking around europe again and in this
new millenium Bang Bang Bazooka is a statement: Kick ass rock and roll!
