In november 2002 „The Bandgeek Mafia“ was founded and declared resistance on the narrow ideology of Ska and pigeonhole thinking. A far cry from any stereotypes the six guys from Trier (Germany) gave the original Skamusic a complete makeover. Too aggressiv for Ska, too emotional for Ska-Core. Long story short: Call it emotional Ska-Core obviously enthraling the audience!

At the beginning of 2005 they released a seven-song-EP completely offered for free download on their homepage www.thebandgeekmafia.de. At the time there are more than 12.500 downloads registered besides al lot of sold Eps (400 pieces) indicates a constantly growth of this band.

„The Bandgeek Mafia“ already played over 80 concerts across Germany/Luxembourg & Switzerland and supported Bands like Less than Jake, The Movement, Skaos, Waterdown, Dr. Woggle & the Radio, Rantanplan, Itchy Poopzkid, Abuela Coca & Nu Sports! They were on tour till april 2006 when they recorded the first full length album, including 12 new songs. The new Album will be released at 02/2007!!
In conclusion there´s just one advice left: Visit this band at one of their liveshows. It´s worth it!!!
